1. Do I need a level 1 course to start the level 2 award?
No. Our level 2 course is available for anyone over the age of 16 who has a basic English qualification.
You can start any of the courses at anytime. You will agree a learning plan and choose which assessment days you can attend.
3. How long do the qualifications take?
This depends upon your circumstances and how much time you have available to study. As a guide, the level 2 fitness instructor award takes approximately 6 weeks.
4. Where do the practical assessments take place?
The assessments take place at Fitness First in Bromborough or Fitness First in Cheltenham.
5. What are the payment options available?
Payment options are available on all our courses. These options depend upon your personal circumstances and can be organised with us on a person by person basis.
6. Can I do the courses online?
Some of our courses are now available online with students just attending the practical assessments. Currently we offer Level 2 Fitness Instructing (Gym), Level 3 Advanced Fitness Instructing (Gym) and Level 3 Personal Training as online courses.
7. Do you organise the courses for groups?
Yes, we can organise any of the courses for groups e.g. Schools. Minimum numbers apply, contact Gryphon Training.
8. Where do the study days take place?
All of our study days take place at the University of Chester, Chester Campus. We have access to full conference facilities and a fully equipped gym.
