Gryphon Training targets North West students.

Following on from the success of the last two courses, Gryphon Training are actively encouraging students in the North West to gain a fitness qualification whilst studying at university/college.

 

The numbers of university students studying with Gryphon Training has grown and we will be visiting numerous fresher’s fayres in the Autumn.  Students from all over the country are welcome, but we will be visiting the University of Chester, University of Liverpool and John Moores University to promote the courses.

 

All students who produce a valid NUS card will receive 25% off the price of the L2 gym award.

Gryphon Training launches courses aimed at students

 

Beccy Davis, Training Director, has launched a scheme to attract university and FE students to Gryphon Training courses.

 

The scheme includes group face to face days for members of the same or local universities.  These can be undertaken at a convenient location and include classroom based work and practical based sessions.

 

Beccy says “Students face a difficult time finding work after their graduation and Gryphon Training are working to provide vocational qualifications that can be undertaken whilst at university.  These qualifications can also be used to find work whilst at university in an area of interest; you may even get a free gym membership from working in a gym!”

 

Gryphon Training have also been approached by Specialist Sports Colleges to deliver Level 2 courses to both teachers and 6th form pupils to help increase participation in schools and ensure that the gym is staffed by qualified instructors at all times.
